That's right. As described in TOTANI NEWS Vol.5, the design and parts were reviewed and modified finely to realize high speed in the D series. For example, thicker heater blocks and cooling plates were adopted for adequate heating and cooling, and the dancer roller made of lightweight carbon was adopted to decrease its inertia moment.

This optional high-speed model has larger servo motor capacity for film feed and more horizontal heaters and horizontal coolers than the standard model to always operate at high speed.

Yes. Briefly speaking, heating seal for a shorter time in one shot results in high speed. Then, heating seal at low temperature and increasing heating "shot" keep seal strength and quality, like the standard model. The same can be said for cooling process. In spite of high speed, Totani's own "Film feed control" keeps high-precision film feed.

This optional model has another big advantage. Totani’s bag making machine can manufacture the three-side-seal pouch with stand-up whose seal has its definite and narrower width, to not only realize high speed but also cut down consumed films. In other words, this model not only reduces cost, but also contributes to environmental protection.

"Notch device" and "In-line corner cutting device" that make the location to open pouch were speeded up with their standard specification. Totani's own "Shear control system manufactures the bags with fine corner cutting at high speed.
